Peter has arrived

Late this week I'm afraid due to massive computer problems. Fortunately Peter arrived on Friday and has sorted me out. Not a lot has happened. Last week Russia celebrated Maslenitsa which is the start of the Lenten fast and signifies the end of winter. I think all sorts of things were happening in the city but at school we had pony and cart rides and pancakes - with all sorts of fillings. We had so much. Children from school 2 came over in costume to present some songs and to tell us all about it.

Nadine and I are planning a trip to the Cosmanauts museum after half term so went for a previsit. It was very interesting even if we couldn't read all the labels. I took these photos outside.

Finally I woke on Friday morning to this magnificent sunrise. Last week was beautiful. This week we have snow and grey lowering skies. Quite depressing and such a shame now Peter has arrived.

Just four days till half term. Hooray. Peter and I found the Moscow City museum yesterday which was lovely. Small but interesting.
