I took a walk past the lake I walked across only a few weeks ago. Though not safe to walk on it is still covered in ice which really surprised me. I took these pictures to show you.
This is the actual place where I walked to school each day.
After choir I had lunch with Mary Francis from Anglo American and then took a walk into Gum to see if their display had changed ( and to grab a food hall ice cream which are rather nice). The plastic blossom was still up, but in the first aisle (where the Christmas trees are displayed) Bosco Bambina, a sports clothes outlet, had a display and the basis was the Comic Book exhibition Peter and I saw at the new Tretyakov back in February. I was so disappointed when I couldn't take any photos or buy any posters. This time I could click away to my heart's content and I think might be able to buy some pictures. There was a flyer to pick up with prices of something on so I'm taking it into school to be translated. Anyway, here are just a few of the pictures I took. I love the little character with a pencil for a nose.

I love the man playing chess on top of the bus.
So that's my news for now. Peter is due back tomorrow having sorted Philippa and his dad out for now.
