Well that's my first term over. It has been an interesting experience and I am pleased I came. Yes, it can be lonely here on my own, but it was lovely having Peter here, and he will come again as will other members of the family, and friends too if they wish.
Moscow is a beautiful city, though with all the problems of pollution and too many cars. Green issues are not high on the agenda, but I am sure they will come in the end. I have seen and done many new things, and discovered I am braver than I thought. School is school with its highs and lows, more highs. St Andrew's church is welcoming and the little wooden church a peaceful oasis. I am hoping to join another choir in the new year, and do something about learning Russian.
As I leave the temperature is coming back up to around minus 15 with heavy snow forecast for the weekend (after I have gone I hope), after it has snowed on home. Typical, chaos as I want an easy trip home.
I hope those who read this have enjoyed my ramblings. I start again in three weeks when I hopefully arrive on January 9th.
I can't believe there is more snow in Prestwood than there is in Moscow!
