I was told that spring arrives all of a sudden in Moscow and it's true. The snow has just about gone and the city is turning green as I look.
These ducks have made us laugh at school. The lake is still frozen so they have taken up residence in the very large puddles. They don't seem in the least bothered by the children.
I have just had Dan, Julian and Cat here for lunch after church which has been lovely. Julian has not really seen the residential areas before so it was interesting for him. We walked via the little wooden church. He was surprised how open we are here and how many trees. We are lucky.
Most of the children are back now so the hard work begins. Four weeks to half term. Peter arrives in three and a half.
Till next week.
