International Day and Going Home

Today was a special day at school as it was International Day when we celebrate our diverse backgrounds. The parents are invited in to so some activities with the children and to bring in some food for us to share. Here are some photos of the day.

So the first half of term is nearly over and I go back to England on Friday. Winter is on the way. We had snow in the air today. Horrible.

To finish on a positive note. I was given a book of Russian Fairytales in English as a gift. It is beautiful with traditional style pictures. I have already started reading the stories. I didn't realise the story of the Enormous Turnip came from here.

Till after half term.
