First the Moscow International choir concert. This went better than the summer. We sang Rossini's Petite Sollenne and then a selection of carols in English, French and Russian. Here we come a Wassailing caused some consternation but we got it in the end. Natalia from school (new friend not landlady) came and took some pictures.

On the following Sunday we had the church Nativity Play. Mike came up with the idea of the t-shirts. Brilliant. BBC- Bethlehem Broadcasting corporation!!!
That evening we had the carol service which was beautiful. The choir carols, In the bleak and Easterm Monarchs sages three, went well. Afterwards we tramped through the snow to the Marriot courtyard hotel for a buffet supper.
And then to the last week of term. Monday was two performances of the plays and songs. I wrote a short play based on a John Burningham book the Magic Bed which went really well considering I only have a class of 12 and one was off!!!
Here they are waiting to go on.
And here they are performing.
Then it was time to pack and leave - leaving Peter behind to continue teaching for a week. We both got home ok but colleagues who tried to leave on Saturday, got stuck for up to three days.
Still I am back in Moscow and Peter comes back next week. Church tomorrow and school on Monday.
Happy New Year to all my followers and I'll do my best to keep up to date.
