Well I have survived my first week back. Dramas at school with one member of staff not back for family reasons, but we split Stu's class and carried on. Back to normal tomorrow.
I had my first tumble yesterday - black ice at the metro. We have had some very strange weather with a slow thaw starting. Where the snow and ice has been cleared it has been possible to walk properly. Today the temperature has dropped and everywhere is sheet ice again. My new pink wellies came into their own on the way to school.
Met Nadine yesterday for the first time since we got back in September. It was nice to hear her news and compare schools. Her wedding plans are coming on.
Peter has delayed his flight until next Thursday as there have been dramas with Philippa's flat. I have managed here fine but it will be good to have him back. I have watched an awful lot of Lord Of The Rings. Moscow Choir starts again on Tuesday and I am going to do English conversation with Ivan from church so that will keep me out of mischief.
The days are already getting longer. It was just light at five this evening. Hooray!! I must try and get out with my camera once more.
