Saturday's photos

Here are the photos from Saturday. The Cathedral is magnificent as you can see, despite the grey skies. Cameras were not allowed inside.

The figure on the boat is of Peter the Great. Not a great photo because of the grey skies. I will try on a better day.

Peter has taken some photos on his walks around, but I'll get him to explain what they are and where he went.

Snow keeps coming and going making everything really wet and muddy. I shall get webbed feet before long. The ground is saturated and there are puddles everywhere.

Christmas will start in school soon. We have to explain so much to the children to make sure they understand. Holly does not grow here and Santa is not dressed in red but blue and is called Father Frost. My class are leading the Thanksgiving assembly on Friday and then I start with a vengence. With several children who have virtually no English it will be interesting.
